What happens when you get an opportunity to showcase your work of art with Canon Malaysia at Canon's 'SocialSync: Chilling Out With Canon', an event set in the morning filled with fun and connectivity with Canon's latest cameras and technology?. You take the leap and show the world what you can do.
That's exactly what I did and with the help of the fantastic Canon Selphy CP910 (I owned CP900 as well) I printed out pictures and made scrapbooks to showcase at the event. I also taught the basics of how to start your very own scrapbook to the media should they be interested to own a Canon Selphy CP910 to start their journaling their memories down.
Suddenly I become a scrapbook guru and it all started with the Canon Selphy CP900. My first purchase t0 start my scrapbooking hobby (2011).
Of course, besides the Selphy CP910 Compact Photo Printer, the stars of the event were also Canon’s PowerShot G1 X Mark II, PowerShot N100, and Canon Image Gateway. Follow by Venetian harlequins, mime acts and scrapbooking!.

I was stationed at the Canon Selphy CP910 station so I watched as members of the media flock from one station to another, testing and having fun connecting with each Canon products showcased. These were the products of Canon's 2014 first half roll-out showcased here at the SocialSync: Chilling out with Canon, meeting the needs of every type of user - from the pros to the seasoned photographers to casual users (like myself) while promoting interaction, connectivity between friends and family. Lucky draws were also given out and I was so jealous of the winners walking away with one unit each of the PowerShot G1 X Mark II, PowerShot N100 and Selphy CP910.
The media also had the opportunity to have a trial of other innovative Canon products launched in the first half of 2014 such as the latest EOS 1200D, EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM and EF-S10-18mm IS STM lenses; Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX II flash; and the latest PowerShot and IXUS models.

The CP 910 supports Apple Airprint, allowing users to print wirelessly from their mobile devices. It also features new selectable print finishes, enabling users to toggle between glossy prints, or two other patterned finishing achieving a toned down textured effect.

If you're an avid scrapbooker or serial selfie narcissist, consider taking the leap to start a project of your own using the Canon Selphy CP910 which retails for RM449.00. I owned the Canon Selphy 900 RM399 in pink. Where to buy? Go to Canon shops or retailers. The printer does not come with photo papers so you will need to buy them separately. It retails from RM99 onwards (depending on stores) and each box comes with it's own supply of photo ink. Sizes varies from 4R to stickers to postcard sizes. It's super fun :) trust me.
