As your PLUS+ Ambassador I made it my business to be out and about for NY Fashion Week. I initially couldn’t get under the Lincoln Center tent, but Kenneth Doswell fixed that!
September 5, 2014-  if you weren’t at Lincoln Center you should have been here. Kenneth Doswell founder and designer for Betty Jean Couture was one of many to show off his Spring/Summer 2015 Collection during New York Fashion Week. His collection was filled with bright colors, chiffon tops, and red carpet worthy dresses all exclusively for plus size women. Plus size models Liris Crosse, Mackenzie Barnes, and Andrea Scotland were some of the models that helped bring his collection to life. Back to the city I go for Plus Night Out. Stylish curvy women, models, bloggers, and even Pageant Queens took over NYC on September 6th for Plus Night Out 2014. Plus Night Out is the only plus-centric event during Fashion Night Out that connects companies, brands, bloggers and traditional media with the much-varied plus size woman/consumer. This year’s participating designers included Qristyl Frazier Designs, Sydney’s Closet, Tru Diva, Jill Alexander, Seven Curves, and title sponsor Ashley Stewart, as well as other designers. Plus Night Out held an award ceremony and a model search with Wema Enofe walking away as the PNO model search winner. I had a front row seat with my fellow Queens and check out some of the eye popping fashion we saw photos courtesy of Rick Jones.
